Westt is a young dynamic and quick growing company, established in 2006 by Gerard Schouten and Antoine Engelaar. As a company, we started in an office of the University of Applied Sciences ‘Van Hall Larenstein’ in Leeuwarden. After a short period of time, it was clear that our company (including our projects) expanded very quickly and that we needed another location. Westt became one of the founding partners of the waterhub in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands, in 2008. Since February 2009 the company is located at the Johannes de Doper church in Leeuwarden, part of this waterhub, with about 15 other young technology companies that are actively involved in water, energy or life sciences.
Our focus
Westt focuses on new sustainable breakthrough technologies concerning (drinking) water treatment and water management. In the development of new technologies and products the time to market is essential for Success. Westt has a strong focus on fast development and swift market implementation thus creating maximum result in the shortest time possible.
