After the succesfull launch of the DANA technology at IFAT 2010, Dutch Water Technologies and Aqwise launch their new company Aqana. This new joint venture established in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands, in November 2011. Aqana will meet world wide anaerobic demand through an international network of partners.
The DANA solution combines anaerobic and aerobic biological processes into one in-line process. The DANA system produces a high quality effluent at comparatively low operational costs, while avoiding the need for two parallel biological systems that would otherwise necessitate a significantly larger footprint installation and operational complexity.
The Westt-concept within Aqana
Westt supports the organizational, product and market development of Aqana. Aqana is has just been set up as a company, but a lot of the activities have already started. The market is very interested in the DANA-technology. It is the most simple waste water treatment at this moment, the technology combines anaerobic and aerobic processes and the capital investment of this technology is about 30% smaller than other technologies.
