TailTec is a Leeuwarden-based new spin-out company from Wetsus. TailTec develops technologies to convert safe byproducts (for example from food industries) into small freshwater worms by means of energy- and water-efficient reactors. The Westt-concept within TailTec
Westt operates as a partner in TailTec. TailTec is currently being set up as a private company, but a lot of the activities are already started. The product and market are being developed and within less than a year after the project started, we have established a well defined product/market combination with high potential.
