Gerard Schouten and Antoine Engelaar, whose roots lie within Westt, are members of the ‘Mannen van de WIT’. The establishment of this team is an initiative of the ‘Water Technology Innovation Programme’, supported by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and carried out by the Netherlands Water Partnership in cooperation with SenterNovem and TTIW Wetsus. They combine their powers to make full use of the innovative competence of the water sector.
The objective of the Water technology Innovation Team is to actively promote
the development and export of Dutch water and wastewater technology. The team members support innovative entrepreneurs with the development of their idea’s (concerning water technology) and market introduction. They look for partners, financers, producers or the required knowledge and guide the entrepreneur in regulation and agencies.
